You probably know the types of articles that are posted here at NICseek, but in case you’re not too familiar these are the categories we’re looking for:

• You can also contribute video tutorials, hacks and in-depth reviews of new software applications that make people feel more productive.
• Tutorials: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SEO and Web Development etc
• You write about latest world/technology news and political views.

NICseek has thousands of dedicated readers who check the website daily for new articles, news, poems, short fiction, and general information/news.
• NICseek will be Google News Source website, and will be HIGHLY viewed by visitors of Google.
• Improve your ranking in search engines with reciprocal links from NICseek. From your website(s), you may link to your author page and your articles. This is a great marketing and networking tool for any business.

Do I need writing experience or a college education to become a NICseek author?
No. All you need is good writing skills, such as spelling and grammar, knowledge about a particular topic, and the passion to write and engage your readers. All NICseek articles are reviewed by our editorial staff prior to publishing.

How do I submit an article?
You’ll be given a unique username and password to access the author/writer area. Where you’ll be able to talk with other writers directly. Just write an article via online txt editor, choose category, and save as draft or publish it by pressing publish button. You will have full control over your articles/posts, you’ll be able to edit all of your posts at anytime.

All contributions will be reviewed by the editor and content that matches (or exceeds) the site’s existing standards will be promoted on the main website.

Important guidelines
Before your submit an article, please note that:

• The content must be original and cannot be republished elsewhere on the web.
• Your articles may be edited prior to publishing.
• If you use an image or quote text from another source, always give full credit with an hyperlink. Never attempt to rehash someone else’s content or idea.
• While there’s no such thing as “optimal” word length as it may vary depending upon the topic, guest posts should have at least 300 words or more.
• Include screenshots with your articles and each image should include a caption. Use the PNG/JPG/GIF format for screenshots and they should be 540 pixels wide.
• Do not publish negative reviews – if you think a product has no good features, better not write about that product on the NICseek.
• If you are planning to cover news that is already well known on the Internet, add thoughtful analysis to your story or explore it from an angle that other publications may have missed.

How do I apply?

We recommended that you send us a brief outline of what you plan to write so that you don’t spend time writing about stuff that has already been covered or is not suitable for publishing on the site.
We’ll contact you back within 24 – 72hours of your submission. You’ll be emailed login details once your application is approved.

How do I deactivate my NICseek Author/Writer account?
We hope you’ll stay with us forever. However, if you wish to deactivate your author account, contact us with your request to close your author account. Please specify if you would like your NICseek articles removed from the site, as well. Unless specified,NICseek will keep your work published on our site.
